Travelers who are flying between Houston and Taipei on EVA Air’s new nonstop service will enjoy a specially-designed Boeing 777-300ER. The aircraft has been branded with Hello Kitty characters, and the airline is calling it the EVA Air Hello Kitty Shining Star Jet.
In addition to providing a fun and colorful exterior, the plane has been fitted with inflight Wi-Fi, one of the latest in-seat entertainment systems, and global roaming. The airline currently has six other Hello Kitty-branded craft that operate between Taiwan and Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Guam, China, and Paris. This new route will initially fly three times a week, with a fourth service beginning in early July on a standard Boeing 777-300ER.
Taipei is an ideal hub to connect with the majority of the top leisure and business destinations across Asia. Passengers can choose to spend time visiting the sights and stay in one of the city’s excellent apartment rentals or catch a connection to their onward destination.
Taipei has direct links from EVA Air to ten cities throughout Southeast Asia, including Hanoi, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok. There are also flights to 29 airports in Mainland China and ten destinations in Japan through the airline’s subsidiary, UNI Air.
EVA Air gives passengers from North America excellent choices when travelling to Asia. It has six other North American gateways in addition to Houston, and it has more flights from the continent to more Asian airports with just one connection than anyone else.
