The Middle East and Australia are set to benefit from increased links next spring with the announcement that Qatar Airways will begin a direct service between the cities of Doha and Sydney. The daily flights will commence on March 1, 2016, adding to the airline’s existing Australian destinations of Perth and Melbourne.
This increase in services from Qatar’s Doha hub to Australia will boost links between the two regions. Both legs of the journey are timed to depart in the evening, which will be convenient for leisure and business passengers alike. The service will operate on a Boeing 777-300. The aircraft’s two cabins give passengers comfortable surroundings and a high quality in-flight service.
Sydney offers plenty of sights and attractions for visitors, many of whom chose to stay in some of the city’s cheap apartments. There is the iconic Sydney Harbor Bridge and Opera House to visit, which attract thousands of tourists every year. Passengers arriving in Doha will find a modern city that is continuing to grow at a terrific pace. It is well equipped to meet the needs of contemporary businesses, with excellent facilities and amazing skylines. People who want to see the region’s sights will not be disappointed. The many souks and markets offer plenty of opportunities to pick up some traditional souvenirs, while Doha Bay provides a very attractive space to cycle or walk around.
