People travelling to Norway this year will be greeted with a very different kind of welcome when they arrive at some of the country’s airports. As part of the “Gateway to Norway” project, a range of exciting art installations will feature in the country’s main airports.
The project has already begun with a remarkable art installation and an innovative 3D animation film at Oslo Airport. Those who have booked one of the fantastic places to stay in Oslo will be provided with a warm welcome thanks to the new project. It is intended to offer them a full audio-visual experience that showcases everything that is great about Norway, including trade, nature, and culture.
The work was created by a number of Norwegian companies, including renowned designers and the inspirational composer Nils Petter Molver. Their aim is to create more intrigue around what Norway has on offer and provide a modern view of the country to appeal to a range of travelers.
The installation in Oslo is expected to be viewed by around a million people every month. Further installations will be put in place at other major airports in the country by September. The work will change throughout the year to reflect the different regions within Norway and how the country changes with the seasons.
Whether you’re visiting Norway for business or pleasure, the country has plenty to offer. This latest promotional experience aims to give you an exciting glimpse into exactly what is available.
