If you thought the Spanish island of Ibiza was all about clubbing until the early hours of the morning, you might be surprised to learn that there’s a whole other side to the island that really needs to be explored. Here are some of the top sights and attractions you should fit in once you’ve got your Ibiza vacation rentals sorted.
Climb to the top of the old town
This long and steep walk leads you to a delightful cathedral at the top of the main town. Once you get there, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to admire the spectacular views; it looks especially beautiful around sunset.
Take a trip to Formentera
This small island is around 30 minutes by boat from Ibiza and has some of the world’s best beaches with clear, blue waters. You can also hire a bike for an affordable way to really explore the island.
Catch the sunset
Ibiza has some amazing locations to watch the sunset, and they’re well worth the trip. At Es Vedra, there is a small spot that offers some stunning views. You can also drive out to Ses Salines, where you can watch the sun setting across the salt flats.
Head off the beaten track
If you head away from the main streets, you’ll find some hidden gems. The back streets in San Antonio and Ibiza Town are home to some quaint shops, cafes, and ice cream parlors. If you’re visiting Santa Eulalia, go away from the main strip and you’ll find more locals and a slower pace of life.
