Emirates continues to expand their services into the UK by adding a further daily flight between Dubai and Birmingham. This means that the airline will now operate three services a day into the airport.
Emirates is a global brand that offers connections to passengers from around the world. This new flight will increase opportunities for those travelling into the UK and enable them to experience the many attractions and places to stay that Birmingham and other UK destinations can offer.
Birmingham is situated at the heart of the UK’s Midlands region, which is a key financial and manufacturing hub. It provides a range of opportunities for those visiting the area on business. The city also plays a key role in the country’s tourist economy thanks to its close proximity to a number of popular sites. This additional service will improve connectivity with the city and provide passengers travelling from the UK with a wider choice of services.
Emirates will operate a Boeing 777-300ER on this new service, which offers a three-class configuration. There will be capacity for eight First Class suites, 42 seats in Business Class, and 310 seats in Economy. This will boost the cargo and passenger capacity available between Dubai and Birmingham by 42 per cent.
This new service brings the number of non-stop Emirates flights servicing the UK each week to 119. Flying into and out of Dubai opens up a whole network, with connections available to more than 145 destinations in 84 different countries.
